I bought the pattern to fill in spaces on a snowman quilt that has blocks from 12 different quilters. I made several of the Star pieces as per the pattern and they are so cute. However, some of the patterns like the stocking (30 tiny paper pieced items make up a 4" block) are not worth the effort and are way too complicated. So, I traced the gingerbread man and the stocking shapes and made cute applique 4" blocks instead. (From 30 pieces to 3 for the stocking).
I would buy the pattern again but would never invest the time into making some of the blocks as per instructions.
Everything was great.
